Research Summary
The objective of this project is to quantify the relative contributions of climate variability and forest disturbance to runoff in snow-dominated watersheds. To achieve this, we have developed an XAI-based framework for quantification. We also conduct a BC-regional study using this method to explore how watershed properties influence runoff responses. This research supports localized water management strategies and helps mitigate floods and droughts.
